From Wikipedia, the asura is a demon (in this case a cute demon) from the hinduism religion. What do u think it mean? Is it a possible clue to C4?|||According to that Inquirer article, the Asura is a playable class that will be in GW2 sometime between 2009-2010. Official sources have said that parts of the article are true, and parts are false, but did not specify which parts, so we have to be somewhat suspicious of the source.
I honestly believe it is much, much to soon to start speculating on something that is possibly two to three years away. Let's wait for some more information before we start making stuff up (not saying that secretkid is, mind you, but these types of threads always degenerate into people just wishful thinking).|||you may be right on that point.. You can play them in specific areas, and they're needed for certain things. You'll probably be able to shift forms into Asura or whatnot.|||ANet wouldn't want all messing about that they would have to do to get the Asura from GW2's engine to ours... Come to think about it there are two games with the Asura race. I just realized this after thinking a little. But 2moons has a slightly more related Asura to the minipets we will get yet humanoid/alienoid (Mainly just the skin color that makes them appear somewhat related) Then there's Rappelz which makes the Asura seem like more of an assassin based race (IE like a dark elf) 2moons was in closed beta for a little bit too so now I'm suspicious.

As for the Asura being an actual race in GW2 (if GW2 will exist) I think that'll be neat. It'll be nice to escape the gnomes and dwarves, or atleast the gnomes, of most typical MMOs.|||They were closely associated with the "Corrupted" naga as well. I wouldn't be suprised then if we start seeing max level or higher nagas in GW:EN for once.
