Is there any evidence of time-based magic ?

Most questions discussed on lore forums tend to reveal past events, in fact the entire guild wars series sounds like the aftermath of great events. I was wondering if all this doesn't suggest content for a futur chapter taking us back in time and including new professions which mess around with the time-line.

This is based on intuition ( same stuff that suggest who his the vilain simply because the camera just focused excessivly on an unimportant person, or that the person who just said that he'll be back will be slaughter ). I mean time-spells are a common thing in many role-playing adventures once they focus on past events holding all the answers. The details provided on the actual time-line also seem excessif, hence suspucious. I'm sure that the fall of orr, city of gods, the individual story's behind grenth, dhuum, bathazar, menzie etc and the fights opposing Mursaat and Seer could fill up an entire new release.

But my intuition is only worth something if Anet deliberatly avoided any time-based stuff up until now. So does anyone know of some evidence or am i on to something here ?

( I don't believe fast casting and recharge buffs mess around with time the way they are described but i am not familiar yet with every single profession )|||The statue in the Arid sea.|||No, there isn't any evidence of chronologically defying magic. However, the Prophecies Manuscripts describe the Mists as touching "all places and all times". So, you never know.|||the historian in chebbyk? fields

(not an exact quote) "why listen to me talk about it when you see the event for yourself?"

when talking to a character created in a continent other than elona...

amost like a segment of time was recorded, allowing one to relive it, unless of course, it is mind manipuation.|||I suppose that's true. But it says "Reliving" events, which suggests it is more of a techinical thing than actual timetravel.|||I don't think they'll do it simply because it seems a little contrived to me. But then my opinion and a quarter will buy you a piece of gum. :-/|||Well here's something that caught my interest after reading trough lore :

"Lord Odran, a great arcanist specializing in the study of temporal distortions, desired to make a plea to the gods. Like King Doric many centuries before him, he had sought to bring peace to his home land (unknown at this time) by communicating with the Gods. He wanted to undo the Exodus of the Gods and bring back the gods to restore peace and harmony. In 851 AE, through the use of a powerful spell of his own device and the sacrifice of many souls, he succeeded in opening a portal to the Rift."

Don't know if this destroys my intuition or could be used as evidence of a hint. I think he was killed by angry ghosts and never finished what he started, maybe we'll have to do it for him after we messed up the gw-world beyond repair in following chapters. But i don't want to rush here and got some reading to do about this odran guy before commenting any further.
