Abaddon, Dryders and Twin Serpents links?

So, we've all seen Abaddon's pic already.

What I always found strange were the twin serpents around his shoulders. In Tyria, there are many references to "Twin Serpents". The UW has a place called Twin Serpents mountains, but that's because of 2 brothers that defied Grenth and got punished(or so the Reaper says). There's also a place called "Twin Serpents Lake" in Tyria, of which no reference is known. The whole thing around the serpents is mostly a mystery, could be caused by the Gods who erased all traces of Abaddon and his followers.

Next up, this little staff:

It's know a Jeweled Staff, most of the time referenced as Twin Serpents Jeweled Staff. Besides the skin being used as Rago's Flame Staff, this is a Mesmer weapon dealing Chaos damage. It's also mostly found from Stone Summit in the Southern Shiverpeaks and of Mursaat Mesmers in RoF. At the moment, a lot of thing are pointing to the SS being worshippers of Abaddon, and seem to be wielding weapons idolising his symbols too it seems.

Next point. Dryders.

There aren't many of them. There are Frostfire Dryders in the Northern Shiverpeaks (Anvil Rock mostly), Dark Flame Dryders in the RoF, Terrorwebs and Keeper of Souls in the UW and TotPK, and Doubter's Dryder in the FoW.

These places have a one thing in common: Gods. Balthasar created the Dwarves at Anvil Rock, which could indicate he had a home there. The FoW and UW relation is clear, and RoF is where the Titans (Abaddon's minions?) are kept, guarded by strong magic of the Gods.

Like the Titans, Dryders seem to adapt to what element surrounds them as well (Frostfire in Shiverpeaks, Darkflame in RoF)

I wasn't able to find the pic of Abaddon holding a scythe, but IIRC, there were 6 arachnid legs under him. Dryders run around on 6 legs, with 2 arms above their head to wield weapons (offhands and staves since they're casters). There's also a striking resemblance between Abaddon's face in the above pic and Dryders.

It's possible Dryders were also a part of Abaddon's force, and due to their nature (arachnid), they were hard to completely eradicate by the Gods. Abaddon could be using them now to attack the realms of the Gods and prepare them at a few tactical locations.

Comments are much appreciated.|||Cool ideas. :)

Other possibilities related to this that could work:

Dryders aren't serving abaddon now, but were created by abaddon and have stuck around in various places. Some may have been captured and are being used again in the various realm of the god invasions.

Dryders are mutated in some way from being close to abaddon.|||Quote:

Additional idea from this...

If titans, dryders etc take on/mimic/mutate based on their surroundings, what happens to them when they go somewhere complete unnatural like the Abbadon's realm of torment. The nearest example are the Terroweb dryders, which appear in UW and Tombs. And it's 100% that Tombs PvE is an invasion by abbaddon's forces.
