[:1]Hi guys!
Two years has been a long time, but I've finally updated the Tyria world map to bring it up the current era in Guild Wars.
I've also made it more colourful and hopefully more legible too.
Here's the standard size versions:
With Background:
Big
Medium
Small
Without Background:
Big
Medium
Small
And there's a few extra items with this release. You'll have to right click and 'Save as...'. The Large images are 8797 x 16378 they're too big to display in browser so you'll need to open them after saving:
Illustrator file with the icons I created for the map (as brushes)
15MB Large version
17MB Large version w/Textured Background
11MB Large with Symbols, no text
10MB Large with No Text and No Symbols
Hope you guys enjoy it, and Happy 5th Birthday Guild Wars!
And again, thanks to everyone who's contributed over the years and helped me put this map together.
aus|||It looks nice. It seems a bit cleaner as well, but that may just be due to having not seen it over and over.|||Just a suggestion, but I think you should make "The Clashing Seas" (or Unending Ocean) a little bit bigger... because I have never noticed it until now. And even then, it was rather a stroke of luck for that to of happened.|||Good idea, i'll make it bigger and call it both things (like the Sea of Sorrows.) I've also changed the font to make things more legible and the map is a little more colorful and vivid too.|||You should change the ancient dragon legend key from "Ancient Dragon" to "Here There Be Dragons"!|||Or, in a non-joking naming, call it Elder Dragon, since they've been named Elder since August.|||Quote:

Yup, changing that. I had 'Ancient' in two places and only changed one to Elder.
So I wonder if they're going to add anything in the next week...
aus|||auserator - thanks for keeping up with maintaining the map. Always enjoy taking time to pore over it.|||Sweet! All above changes are also in btw. This might be good until GW2 now ;)
aus|||Shouldn't there be a landmark in Majesty's Rest?
