Sorry if this belongs in a sub-forum, but to me it encompasses 2/4 of them so I put this here.
There are the original undead from Orr that became such due to the Cataclysm. That's 1 branch.
Then Joko has his undead, #2.
Then Primordius will awaken and create more undead. Branch 3 or the same as 1? (Well that probably depends on if Primordius is somehow connected to Abbadon, and he influenced the creation of Orrian undead.)
Then there are some undead in GWEN, mainly Shards of Orr and Murakai's dungeon. But the Orr ones = Orr, right? And Murakai's are because of tainted energies or something like that, it says the exact explanation in the Master Dungeon Guide. And also some undead in Varajar Fells (around the same spot the Facets are found in the end of the Alchemy/Facet quests) (Lindsay said they were just there, not of any importance, I think.)
Are these undead connected in any way (mainly the first 3 I mentioned)? Or are these comparable to Minions created by necromancers, in which each creator has his/her own mini army? Thoughts, comments, etc. please.|||I'd say its more likely the Undead Dragon under Orr is what caused the Orrian Undead.|||Quote:

That's probably right. I'd guess that all of the Orrian are undead will end up being linked in service under the dragon. But, I would also say that it will be likely that we see the undead under Palawa being their own, seperate force.|||The Undead in the Shards of Orr are the remains of Lady Glaive's corsair crew. Left over from the Second Great Corsair War, Lady Glaive's ship, the Queen of Fools, parlaised a deal with king Zoran of Orr (Reza's father), securing shelter for the corsairs in the Orr-controlled caves. First Mate Fendi Nin made another deal with Zoran's crooked advisor, seizing control of the Queen of Fools but unknowingly damning the entire crew in those caves. Lady Glaive herself escaped with her life and sealed them inside.
The Undead at the Cathedral of Flames are Ascalonian dead still attached to the Ascalonian treasure stolen by Scorch Maulclaw and Flamemaster Maultooth. Murakai, a former Ascalonian soldier, planned to unleash them in a "Storm of Souls", killing Charr and human alike in a bid for revenge and domination of the Cathedral.|||Quote:

What is up with Orr and all their crooked advisors? Who hires these people?|||primordius isnt the dragon who makes the undead in gw2 we dont know who that is|||Oh right rex, thanks for pointing it out. And thank you aptalon, that's another mistake. =X|||Well there is an issue connecting the Undead Army that we fight during the events of Prophecies with that of the new Undead Dragon of Orr. The Undead Army we originally fought was spawned, controlled and directed by the Undead Lich who was of course later shown to be a direct servant of Abbadon who has by the time of Orr's rise been slain and replaced by Kormir.
At the very least the Scepter of Orr could have given control of Undead already spawned by the Dragon to the Lich, but it was demonstrated by Undead Rurik that he possessed the ability to spawn Undead himself, or with the Scepter's aid.
It's difficult to say as much of what happened with the Scepter of Orr occurred off-screen away from our sight.
I also would be intrigued to see the relations between Orrian Undead and the Palawa Joko Undead. certainly given the proximity of the Crystal Desert to Orr it is not hard to think that the two will come into conflict. My personal thought is that the Dragon will be able to assume control over Undead that come into it's domain as Dragons are said to be extremely magical and powerful beings in the Guild Wars continuity but beyond this it's hard to tell.|||It seems to be that the Undead Army followed the Lich by choice. I believe it is heavily implied that the Undead Dragon actually controls the Undead, without their will in otherwords.|||the Palawa Joko undead are his original army, or so i am led to believe through the missions and questing in nightfall. (meaning, the army he led before Turai Ossa killed him/ sealed him up/ whatever.)
they would have been alive when joko was alive, i think, and were probably turned into undead by a curse when Joko died, or shortly thereafter?
