It recently occurred to me that not much info is given on the defeat of Dhuum. There are no statues or paintings of him and I'm not quite sure if Grenth destroyed him or what. Also, ive been wondering the origin of Menzies and how exactly he is Balthazar's half brother. Did Balthazar have parents or something which could mean a force much greater than the gods and the dragons? And also, if all the Gods were supposed to be siblings, wouldn't that make menzies a half brother to the other gods as well? and final question, if abbadon was the god of waters and Dhuum of death, where exactly did grenth come from in the first place? did he ascend like Kormir?|||There are no answers to any of those questions. But if you look into the various topics on this forum, you'll find a lot of research on all of these matters. They are good questions that have been raised before.
Especially Grenth's rise to power, and the Dhuum/Menzies connection have been debated a lot. Do a quick search and you should find several threads on those subjects.|||For the final question, if Dhuum was the God of Death, that'd mean Grenth was originally the God of Ice (not the same as Water).
Grenth bested Dhuum and took up the mantle of God of Death as well.
If Dhuum was originally the God of Death and Ice (meaning both were linked), then Grenth did the about the same as Kormir. About the same because Dhuum is still alive, while Abaddon is either dead or residing inside Kormir.|||Grenth fought Abbadon, so he bested Dhuum before abbadon Went on his warway
