The Mursaat Rally 2: Mursaat Rights for Guild Wars 2
Hello my friends. I am Thaerdon Sowilo, a recent yet seasoned member of the Guild Wars Unofficial Forums and the Lore Forums.
As you may know as of now, last year the player named Quintus Antonious organized an event to show ArenaNet our apreciation for the Unseen Ones, how much we care about the Mursaats Right and our clamour of not allowing them to be overcomed by the Asura.

And so, in the name of the Mursaat, the UGPA (Unseen Gods Protection Association) in partnership with the Lore Forums and it's ever spetacular Moderators, wants to fight for the rights of our Unseen Gods to be respected and not allowing them to become extict during the next "two hundred years".
This time there are two threats. The Asura and the Sylvari. We must prevent, at all costs, their invasion and stop further damage to the Mursaat population.
As such here are our demands:
Sylvari or Asura Debate
Do we want this to be a common sight in the future game Lore Characters? No! We want the Mursaat! For their incredible charm and Soothing Manical Laughter we must prevent this from happening.
Say no to Bunnies and Tree-huggers!
The Fate of Saul
We want the truth about the unseen ones. We want to know their true intents and their reprisal at Guild Wars 2.
We want the Scriptures of the Unseen to be a free-to-all document and even an interview with a Mursaat.
The truth must be set free!
Become one with the Unseen Ones
We want their blessings and their gifts. We want their power, strenght and magic. We want to be one with the Unseen and become their Vessels to a great existance in Guild Wars 2
We want to be a Faction joined together for the Mursaat Cause!
That resumes our demands. And as we are prideful of the cause we stand for I just have one thing to say in the name of the Mursaat loving community.
Pretty please ArenaNet, with sugar, spices and everything nice on top.

The event will be held at April 12th 2008 at 5PM GMT, at the Maguuma Stade International Districts.
Join us brother, in the path of the Unseen.
Despite what has been said we still love the Asura and Sylvari and the UGPA holds no hate against this races.|||Oh, and let's throw in "Mursaat weapons for GW2" while we're at it, eh?
Just an aside, I'm not exactly sure what 'games' we can do. Plus, it's serious business. With... seriousness and whatnot.
*wonders if this year we can get a proper formation and such - descending upon LA in such a way would be just brilliant*|||I omited the parts you mentioned. No need for enjoyment and merry making in a serious rally.
And by "formation" what do you mean exactly? Army manuvers and paredes in Lions Arch? Protesting like a Union?|||Don't get me wrong, who doesn't love booze, fireworks and whatnot. But games and contests might be a bit out there, all things considered. I think last year one of the lighter things was the mass handing out of Mursaat tokens and related materials. But, if you can think up some related games and contests, be all means...
As for formation, what a sight 50+ gold armour-clad rallyers charging around LA in formation (for example, just a simple box, or an arrow, or whatever takes the fancy) would be...
Also, to help kick off proceedings, I made a lil' poster, akin to last years more in-character/arrpee stuff. I'm not too happy with it, and if anyone wants to try and improve it, I'll upload the PSD. All the same:

I like it! We could organize ourselfs as a Mursaat Army and herald the event during the week prior to it.
From day 7th to 11th April 2008 we could organize people to shout in all major outpost about the upcomming event. Much like the mensages ArenaNet put on their announcement only that it's in-game.
But would this be too far-fetched?|||I am looking forward to the return of this event. It really showed that the community takes a serious interest in GW's lore. I'll see what I can do to once again advertise this awesome event. But I'd like to have a little bit more confirmation though. *looks at Quintus*|||I'm willing to organizaze the Mursaat Rally this year. The big post at page 4 is the confirmation for the time and place of the event, so that everyone can start preparing.
I only didn't made a thread about it because I need the concent of the Lore Masters. The last word is always theirs.
Since Quintus was the original designer of the event, he will obviously have the priveledge to host the Rally, but since he hasn't been a very active lately I assume he won't be part of the organization on it's early stages.
But I'm sure he would be most honored if the event took place, even without him. The Mursaat Rally is part of Quintus' Legacy afterall. Just the simple fact we are doing it means we haven't forgot how hard he fought for the Mursaat Right.
Also it's worth mentioning that honor for hosting the event is also reserved for the Lore Masters if they are willing to do so, but I also wish to share that honor with them (if I'm allowed). Even if it's just pulling the strings on the backstage.
Now, resuming the preparations:
I am saving up Mursaat Tokens for giving out during the event. Any donations will be most welcome. Currently I have 14 Tokens.
Also we need more posters. What is a rally without posters showing our outrageousness?|||Just a slight correction. The Mursaat Rally is part of Quintus' Legacy. And no, I have nothing to add to this thread. But I am looking forward for new information regarding this from Quintus's part. If he doesn't apeak up, I have nothing against this event being organized by somebody else, for as long as it's under the supervision of a loremaster, preferibly one as passionate for the mursaat cause as quintus is/was.|||I decided to split this into a new thread, as this will act as our organizing area for the event. I'll help however I can and I may just do like Quintus did last year and do a little speech, but if anything comes up I'll probably let Kalidri take over if she can or Thaerdon as he seems enthusiastic about it.
Edit: As a note, I do not endorse all of the "demands" in the OP, rather I support the continuance of this event and the existence of the Mursaat in GW2.
Also, if we cannot get into contact with Quintus regarding the event; I'll try to get into contact with Barinthus and see if [BaR] plans on supporting the event again this year.|||I meant the "demands" as a jest Gmr Leon. To make the post more dramatic.
And as of now. The Mursaat Rally 2 has a Official Guild Wars Wiki page. If it hasn't been deleted by now I supose. Sysops can be very picky.
