You may have wondered why I was being chased so vehemently by Abaddon's hunters, and I believe it is as simple as this: I do not believe Abaddon to be an eternal god. There were other gods before him, before he was imprisoned here. And I believe that while the power he uses cannot be destroyed, he maybe supplanted, as he supplanted his predecessor.
This suggests that Abaddon is not the first God of Secrets. It also seems to suggest there were multiple Gods of Secrets prior to Abaddons ascension.
In short, my theory is that the Mursaat are servants of one of these prior God of Secrets. The Forgotten and the Seers may be servants of an even older God of Secrets.
..
The Mursaat resemble the Margonites in some ways. The Jade golems used by the Mursaat have an even stronger resemblance. And yet, the Mursaat fight against the Titans -- the allied creations of Abaddon.
What if the Mursaat were the servants of a prior God of Secrets, just as the Margonites were the servants of Abaddon? The Mursaat may act to contain the Door of Komalie out of loyalty to their disposed God or simple spite towards Abaddon and his servants.
Perhaps the Foundry of Failed Creations beyond the Door of Komalie was once the Foundry where Jade golems were constructed. It could be that the Jade golems and Mursaat armors were forged by Abaddon himself, as a crafter in the service of the prior God of Secrets. Abaddon does like to personalize his stuff with the six eye motif -- the Jade golems have six eyes.
If the Foundry was Abaddons original little fiefdom prior to godhood, it would help to explain why the Abaddons Mouth is named such. The Door of Komalie leads to the Foundry, Abaddons Mouth leads to the Door. The Domain of Anguish is the home of Abaddons most powerful/important followers. Why wouldnt they be close to Abaddon in the Domain of Secrets, or scattered around the Realm of Torment? They could have be holding down the home fort, while Abaddon was shackled to his stolen throne.
The Forgotten were once the keepers of knowledge. They serve as wardens in the Realm of Torment. The Forgotten have floating animated golems, designed much like the Mursaats armor. Could the Forgotten be servants of a disposed God of Secrets, one even older than the theorized Mursaat god?
The Seers are aligned against both the Mursaat and the Titans. Seers The name suggests a being that seeks truth and secrets. Note that the Seers and the Forgotten both have four arms. Four arms could be the signature motif of an older God of Secrets, just as six eyes is the signature of Abaddon.
