A path to Asurian/Tyrian Tunnles Found in Old Ascalon?

First of all Hi, lore forum its been a while since ive, came in here!

This probably has been mentioned, but while vanquishing old Ascalon I found this strange sewer or entrance to some sort of underground complex. Do these relate to some story or quest, or could these maybe one of the underground tunnels talked about in GWEN. Let me know what you guys think.

I know this is huge speculation and these even may be waterworks of asclaon before the searing

|||I think they are the remants of the waterworks around Duke Barridins estate in Pre Searing|||yeah most cities in any game have some sort of sewer system, that does look like a canal for what was probably once full of water.|||yes it was a waterworks around Duke Barridins estate.. If u go back to the pre-searing and see it.|||It used to be part of this

I believe Quint was referring to Barin's screen shot. Not only is it beautiful but it captures much of Pre Searing's beauty (still not like the Wizard Isle's default SS) which I'll even admit, it does look nicely captured.|||Oh aw, thanks for your kind words, guys|||Yeah, I am going to have to agree. I don't know if you sat there looking for a perfect shot or not, but you got one.

What surprises gets me is how much territory from pre-searing is lost to exploration. All but a sliver of the Wizard's Folly area, most of the land west of the Breach (which coincidentally is just a hole in the wall blocked up with huge boulders pre-searing).

I mean if they wanted to show what was lost, WF had two villages to it. While we can assume they were destroyed, you don't get the full impact off of an assumption.
