guild wars cinematic trailer

i dont know if this was brought up before, i couldnt find it atleast, if it already has been brought up,please move it there.

the Cinematic Trailer of factions is quet clear what it is about,but..

but the profecies cinematic is rather strange

raises alot of questions, what is that mountain/city?,looks like a volcano, but it doesn't seem to be Abaddon's Mouth.

first creatures that dies there look like Gargoyles, but i think they are Ghouls(because the undead are the main enemies i think), that big thing looks like an executioner, and it end with the strongest of the undead, the Bone Dragon.

also that 'executioner' is holding the scepter of orr in a scene.

the cinematic makes the profecies storyline even more weird|||I think it's safe to say the Cinematic has nothing to do with current-day Prophecies storyline. Just like the trailer showing the Warrior in Templar armor.|||Yeah, the cinematic has abssolutely nothing to do with the Prophecies story line as it is now. Most likely, it was rendered as eatly promotional material to help sell the game, in which case women with large chests shooting fireballs and waving 2 swords around as well as massive explosions helps. A lot :P

I would have to agree here, that it's mainly just promotional material and has little to no real lore value. As that is the case I'll just close this.
