All Good Things...

Well everyone, the time has come for me to resign as Lore Moderator and Loremaster of GWO.

Quite frankly, my life has become so hectic and busy that I can no longer devote myself to giving you all the attention and intellectual stimuation that you deserve. Nevertheless, I'm convinced that the community here on the Lore Forum is strong and will go on, long after I'm gone.

With GW2 on the horizon, the past is quickly fading, and with it, I too must go. There will be a new generation to lead the Lore Forum into GW2, and continue to delve into the mysteries of Tyria's past for a long while.

This is, of course, a hard decision to make, and one I have no made spontaneously. I will miss being the Loremaster, but I have taken great pride and pleasure in being the moderator of this forum and watching it grow from birth to the great resource it is today. I expect this tradtion to continue.

Although my successors are not yet certain, I hope that you will treat everyone who comes after me with the same respect and civility you have always shown me. They, for all intents and purposes, are the new Quintii, and I hope that you will see them as the progeny of a proud intellectual and moral tradition.

Thank you all for your time and for the debates and discussions we've had over the past two and a half years. It has been an honor to serve.|||I think I speak for all of us when I say your presence will be sorely missed, Quintus. It's been great having you as the Lore forum moderator, and I wish you all the best in your new ventures and journies in life. |||It's gonna be weird here without Quintus running the place. You have my gratitude for being such a good Loremaster during all this time and being part of building up the lore community here at GWO. Not sure we will ever see such a skilled Loremaster ever again here at GWO.

You have my best wishes.|||It was great having you here. Your insights were often the turning points of theories, and kept many discussions alive. Even if you're not moderating, I hope to see you around here at times.

And don't forget to visit us now and then.|||Even though I didn't submit much to the Lore forum, I enjoyed reading every word, and Quintus Antonius will be very hard to replace.|||Thanks for all your work in this forum, and everything you've done to expand the lore of Guild Wars. Hopefully you'll pop in from time to time to visit us :)

For me, and i'm sure many others here you'll always be the Loremaster.

aus|||Sad to see one of the originals go. There aren't many of us left. (myself included).|||Never cared about lore. But, I have always enjoyed reading the posts in this sub-forum. Some people here are great thinkers. And managing thinkers is never an easy job.

I don't know you in person Quintus but, you have my respect. Good Luck in all things that you do in life.|||Wow, it's a shame to see you go QA. Thanks for everything you've done for GWO, and making this forum the absolute authority for Guild Wars lore.

I just hope your successor will do half as good a job as you did here. I'm sure your influence will still be felt on this forum long after you are gone.
